Meet the Cast and Crew
One of my earliest memories from Providence Heights dates back to a Tuesday afternoon during a community meeting where we gathered with the women in our program to eat a classic Ethiopian meal. One of our beloved life coaches, Hanna, explained how in Ethiopia the act of feeding those around you signifies and cements the love and affection you have for them. I left that lunch thinking “how can I help the world experience the kind of love that happens here?” My reflections from that meal gave me the idea to create a docuseries to open the door on the love, growth, and connection that happens at PH. In our intimate, unfiltered discussions on camera, Lindsey and I peel back layers of her identity, open the lid on the past, survey the road that let her here, and unpack what it feels like to climb out from under the rubble of shame and guilt and begin the good work, the hard fight of letting God’s face shine on you again.

Hello! I'm so glad you made it here because my "why" behind allowing a camera to follow me this closely over ten months is you–I want every person to know that no matter what your past looks like, God uses every part of our story to prepare us for who He designed us to be. In these episodes you'll get to know me as I'm getting to know myself. You'll watch my transformation as it's happening in real time. And, you'll start to marvel, alongside me, as God brings dreams into clear and brilliant focus. As you watch my story unfold, my prayer is that you take God up on trading Him your past for His plan, because what He has for you is better than what you could have ever imagined.
